Welcome to the Academy of Performing Arts and Home of the Lone Star Jazz. Since 1994, thousands of students have taken dance and music classes under the direction of our university trained Instructors and Staff. From beginner to intermediate students, the Academy of Performing Arts has classes to teach good technique and precision at any age. In addition to dance technique and competitive drill team classes, we offer a full range of dance, drill team, and music curriculum.
We have helped thousands of students make their junior high, high school, or college dance teams and our Instructors will help your student obtain scholarships to preforming arts colleges. We have had students receive scholarships to Auburn University, Stephan F. Austin, Geoffrey Ballet-NY, and Juilliard-NY. Helping your student's dreams come is our primary goal! Music is also a integral part of the Academy of Performing Arts. Two years ago we added piano, and guitar, and voice lessons to compliment our dance arts area.
With end of year recitals, recreational classes, competitive teams, performances and private lessons, we continue to expand our students' education with master classes and intensives throughout the year to keep them in top form!
