About Us
Jo Anna ClarkOwner and Executive Director Mrs. JoAnna, an active member of Texas Dance and Drill Team Educators Association, has studied dance since 1971 and has been teaching drill team since 1988. She has also taught ballet, tap, jazz, funk, modern, twirling, aerobics and modeling in the Houston - Montgomery County area since 1983. She is currently the drill team director at Sacred Heart Catholic Junior High School (since 2006) as well as the drill team director at St. Anthony of Padua Junior High School (since 2007). Sacred Heart Junior High Drill Team has been undefeated in the history of their existance and have been national champions in 2008 and 2009. Saint Anthony Junior High Drill team is also an award winning drill team under the direction of Mrs. JoAnna; having placed as 1st runner up in 2009. She is honored as a member of Who's Who Among American Business Women. Mrs. JoAnna was instrumental in founding the Magnolia High School Texas Star Drill Team in 1986 and was elected the first head officer. Mrs. JoAnna has studied Dance Education at Tomball College, UT Arlington & Sam Houston State University. She has completed VIRTUS (Protecting God's Children) and CPR/Safety and is AED certified. Mrs. JoAnna is a certified Red Cross Instructor of CPR, General 1st Aid & AED. She further pursued her college education through scholarships won in the Miss Texas America and Miss Texas USA Pageants where she was a finalist and talent winner. Besides her interest in drill team, Mrs. JoAnna also owns an e-store for beauty pageant contestants, www.CrowningImage.com. She is actively involved in her children's school and church and has volunteered for the American Cancer Society through the Montgomery County Cattle Barons in the past. She is married and has 2 children.
Office Manager Miss Debbie has been a part of our team since 1999. She is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors degree in Education and Kinesiology. Miss Debbie has been teaching in the public school system since 1989 and is currently employed full time with Klein I.S.D. Additionally, Debbie studied all forms of dance in college and enjoys encouraging our dancers. She is married, has 2 children and lives in The Woodlands. Miss Debbie is also a certified Red Cross Instructor of CPR, General 1st Aid & AED.
