Bobby Lee Messer

Bobby Lee Messer is a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, WV. You may remember the movie that came out a few years ago, "We Are Marshall"; that is his alma mater and his howmetown. Mr. Bob started taking music lessons himself when he was in elementary school. His emphasis was on guitar and drums. He has been playing ever since, having participated in countless bands over the years. Mr. Bob says, "I am always working on something musical."

In addition, Mr. Bob is also a video producer with many titles to his credit, including a pilot for national broadcast titled "Women of Thunder". "That was a great project because not only did I get to ride around the Hill Country of Texas with a bunch of women bikers; but I also produced the music that went with this great project!", says Mr. Bob.

Mr. Bob's most beloved thing to do is teach and his favorite student has been his daughter. "There is nothing I love more than sitting in the next room, listening to her work on her music and hearing her say, 'Hey Dad, come listen to this!' I love seeing the sense of accomplishment. It is greatest thing for me when I am able to help bring that out in any student."
