Candice Bennatt is a Senior at Sam Houston State University where she is obtaining her bachelors in Biology. Candice has had a passion for dance since she was three years old. She has won numerous soloist, ensemble and team awards throughout her years as a Kingwood Strutter and in high school as a Kingwood Fillie. She won best in class soloist at USA dance competition in California in 2005.Candice has also won many talent awards through dance in the Miss America Organization. In 2006 she was Miss Teen Houston and won the dancer's talent award at Miss Teen Texas. Candice was also Miss Arlington in 2009 where she made top ten and won a physical fitness award. Candice formally taught at Stacey's Dance Studio, home of the Kingwood Strutters. Candice made the 2008-2009 Houston Texans Cheerleaders. The Houston Texans choose her to represent the NFL in Mexico where she danced and did numerous appearances. On the side Candice has created a program called Dance for the Underprivileged through the Head Start program. Through this program she gives children who do not have the opportunity to be in an extra curricular activity the art of dance. Candice educates her students that dance is a way to illustrate personality, discipline, and responsibility. All of which can be achieved through goal setting. auren Cook-Anderson, a native of Austin, Texas, started dancing at the age of two. She danced at Backstage Dance Studio in Austin for 10 years where she also served as an Assistant Instructor and Instructor. She also taught at Step by Step School of Dance from 2003 to 2006.
