Emily Inglet has been with the Lone Star Jazz staff since 1998. She was born and raised in Willis, Texas where she began studying dance in 1984. Miss Emily graduated from Willis High School where she was a four-year member and head officer of the Willis High School Sweethearts. Shee continued her schooling and dance education at Kilgore College where she was a member of the Kilgore College Rangerettes. Miss Emily went on to graduate from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Academic Studies and Education and a minor in mathematics.
After graduating, Miss Emily became and elementary school teacher. She also became an Assistant Drill Team Director for Willis High School as well as directing the Drew Dance Team at Drew Intermediate School in Crosby, Texas.
Miss Emily is a member of both the Texas Dance Educators Association and the Association of Texas Professional Educators. Since 1998, Miss Emily has directed and coached many award winning teams, ensembles and soloists. Teams and soloists under her direction have received numerous awards including Best in Class, Gussie Nell Davis Award of Excellence, Choreography, Technique, Top Team and Grand Champion. She is currently pursuing her Masters degree through Texas A & M University in Educational Psychology.
In addition to teaching for Academy of Performing Arts, she is a 3rd Grade School Teacher at Birnham Woods Elementary in the Conroe Independent School District.
