Lauren Cook-Anderson

Lauren Cook-Anderson, a native of Austin, Texas, started dancing at the age of two.  She danced at Backstage Dance Studio in Austin for 10 years where she also served as an Assistant Instructor and Instructor.  She also taught at Step by Step School of Dance from 2003 to 2006.

Lauren was on her high school drill team for two years and was co-captain during her senior year.  She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance in 2006 from Sam Houston State University and was on the Dean's List every semester during her college career.  During her college career, Miss Lauren was also involved in Chi Tau Epsilon dance honor society, the Sam Houston State University Dance Company and Alpha Chi Honor Society.

Miss Lauren was a member of the Kista Tucker Dance Comapny from 2005 to 2007 and she was the Drill Team Director at Huntsville High School from 2007 to 2009. 

Miss Lauren is married and she and her husband, Ricky are expecting their first baby in the Spring of 2010.  They reside in Pearland, Texas.
